Film Story

The film, inspired by a bank robbery in Adana, Turkey in the 90’s, portraits honest, hardworking, benevolent, and so naive, two Adanian buddies who are trying to get rid of their financial difficulties. Maksut and Şimşek, who are plumbers, were appointed to repair the water installation in the bank of the New Year’s Eve night. They mistakenly tear down wall of the bank vault, and stand in front of millions of Liras in the bank vault, believing that this money is sent by God to save them from poverty. Money will bring them nothing but trouble with a lot of adventures afterwards.
